“Much I Do About Nothing” turned out to be the most apt title of any Gossip Girl ep yet. There was a lot of hullabaloo for not much at all but some stuff did go down. There was a wedding! There were breakups! There was the corpse of William Randolf Hearst Lydia Hearst! But mostly there were idiots. Specifically, these idiots.

90210 trailer:
Maybe it’s because they have to tell us it’s going to be “sexier” and “cooler.” Or maybe it’s because the idea of The Hills + South of Nowhere makes me want to gouge my eyes out.
All I can say is I hope this doesn’t drag down the memory of Lucille Bluth.
Red banned trailer for The Happening. All the haters can say what they want about M. Night but he an can do no wrong in my book. Ok, Lady in the Water was a little bad but the rest of his work always manages to take me to another place. And while the cynics can scoff at the twists, I welcome them! The Happening looks like his creepiest venture yet.
Empire’s got a great featurette on Wanted, the James Mcavoy/Angelina Jolie pic. The imagery looks amazing and I never read the comic book but it looks like some geeks are gonna be very happy seeing this.
And lastly, 2 new teaser trailers for The Wackness. Josh Peck used to be a goofy fat kid and now he’s a slimmer chiller pothead! Looks pretty good.

They spliced a bit of Buffy in there at around 1:04. Nice touch ![]()

Cycle 10. 10 cycles of America’s Next Top Model. That’s a nice auspicious number. A big anniversary. Tyra, as exec producer should’ve done something big to commemorate her show’s 10 seasons on the air. Maybe an all-plus-sized edition, or a special all-stars competition, but while we all thought she was doing the same old thing she does every cycle, we were wrong.

The TV season isn’t over yet but people are already gearing up for next season’s Dollhuse, Joss Whedon’s newest creation about human lab rats that get their memories wiped with every new assignment. Now, I’m a big Joss Whedon fan because of Buffy but while I can admit Firefly had some shining moments I can’t say it satisfied my Buffyverse hankering. (We won’t even talk about Angel, which was just a huge disapointment all around.) But I still have the utmost faith in Joss to create truly amazing entertainmnet and I have even more faith in him since he’s cast Eliza Dushku in a lead role. My initial reaction after hearing about Dollhouse was something like:
JOSS WHEDON!!!
ELIZA DUSHKU!!!
OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!!!!
Yep. You could say I got a little excited about this pairing. It’s sure to be genius. And if it turns out to be the worst thing on TV I can only blame Fox. Shows just have a weird sheen on that network, don’t they?
io9’s got some spiffy script pages from the pilot episode HERE and even though it’s not much it still looks really good. The Dolls seem to be appropriately odd with their stunted non sequiturs (I see shades of River Tam, which is always a good thing).
Random fave line so far: “Love is a selfish emotion”, “Oh, I’m fecitious in my sleep; it’s like a twitch”
Joss Whedon’s words make me go yay!
